nothing nice to say

I don't know where the fuck I've been, but the first web comic I ever loved returned over a year ago. I'm very excited to discover this, and that might have a lot to do with the fact that I'm so lonely and bored right about now, but...shrug.

It's interesting to read more of Mitch Clem's work now, now that I have gotten into the likes of Achewood and Penny Arcade. Nothing can make me laugh like Achewood, but the return of NN2S is like re-finding an old friend and realizing how you've missed their simple, but unique style of humor.

Also, does anyone know if a black, circular sticker with a white number is a traditional way to honor deceased teammates in the NFL? I find it weird that the redskins' design and the patriots' design for their teammates are identical. Couldn't they use a different font or change the color?

i'm pretty sure all the NFL teams are wearing the same sticker

I don't think your mourning stickers needs to be team specific

jeremy - huh?

shelley - i mean i guess not, it's just that the two memorial stickers i've seen are for players whose numbers were 91 and 21, and when the font and color are the same you barely realize that the 91s are not 21s. i guess what i meant by the whole question was that i think it reflects poorly or a lack of caring on the nfl, who designed them, for not trying to personalize the stickers in any kind of way when the two death were so tragic in different ways. does that make any sense? i could be a crazy person. or a sticker nazi, i guess.

what i'm saying is, are you sure it was a 91? all of the NFL teams, including the cowboys and patriots, are wearing a small black sticker on their helmets with a white 21

"For the 2007 NFL season, the Patriots team wore a "91" insignia (Hill's number in his tenure with New England) on the back on their helmets in his honor."

But that's my point, you know? The two stickers are so alike that you can barely notice the difference.

also, the patriots aren't wearing the 21 for taylor, which john told me he thought was weird.
